Well, it has been a while since I spent any time in this online space. I am still discerning what God wants me to do with it, but for now, I will keep this post short and save my words for the photos.
This was the last "first day of school" photo that I will have of Mary and Aidan in the same school. Fall of 2023

Aidan began 2024 with his very first Pokémon Regional Championship.

Mary experienced God's mercy in her first Sacrament of Reconciliation.

In February, Aidan went to his first Diocesan Youth Conference with Life Teen. He had a blast and is looking forward to it again this year.

Mary has become quite the cat lady!

We ran into some of our favorite people at the Chrism Mass...

including one of our favorite priests! We had almost given up hope that we would see him, but while trying to get out of the parking garage, we finally spotted him.

Jason hates the geese!

Road trip and swinging with our Blessed Friend Forever (BFF)!

A total eclipse of my heart!

Father Daughter Dance

Mary's First Communion

Mary's second Holy Communion (first with Father Saul)!

Aidan was chosen by his classmates to crown Mary with his BFF.

Our "Little Ballerina" was a mirror in the Beauty and the Beast performance.

We went to the Transitional Diaconate Ordination for Matthew Kelly. God willing he will be ordained to the priesthood June 2025.

Jason made 37 personalized crucifixes for Aidan's graduating 8th grade class.

Aidan's last official day of school at OLMC!

During the OLMC graduation ceremony, the students receive a rose to give to a person that has impacted his or her life in a special way. Aidan gave his rose to Sister Mary Josephine. She taught Aidan theology for four years, but she was (is) more than a teacher to him. Sister Mary Josephine will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Aidan's fan club!

Mary received the Citizenship Award! Can you tell that she loves having her photo taken?

Aidan's First LEGO League Robotics Team won third place at state securing a spot at an international competion. The team ended up going to the international competion at WPI in Massachusettes.

We stopped by the Divine Mercy Shrine in Stockbridge, Massachusetts on our way to Canada.

Saint Joseph's Oratory in Montreal, Canada.

Peter has no idea that there is a pear stuck between his horns.

It was a very LONG and frustrating summer with these two.

BUT not with this guy!

There was a lot of Pokémon-ing!

Aidan was an altar server in Father Saul's 30th Anniversary Mass with his bishop from Guatemala.

I went on a silent retreat - it was one of the best things I have ever done for myself! Before I left for home, I reunited with two of my lovely friends.

Sister Mary Josephine moved schools over the summer. Fortunately, for us she was not moved too far away, so we can still make trips to see her. This photo was taken at the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage.

Mary received her 100th Communion at our church's dedication Mass on October 4th.

Mary did an exhibit dance at Port Warwick.

We love fall on the farm!

On November 6th, I was received into the Dominican Laity.

We have no idea how many chickens we have now!

This fall we lost our Francis. She was almost 8 years old, and such a good grandma chicken. We were thankful that she passed peacefully in the barn.

Our family was blessed with a week long visit from our favorite friar. Gosh, we miss this guy!

Mary had two parts in The Nutcracker - Mouse and Ribbon Candy!
